According to § 13 paragraph 1 Telemedia Act (TMG), the provider of a teleservice has to inform its users at the beginning of the usage process about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data in a generally understandable form. The content of the information must be available to the user at any time. Every company is obliged to inform the user which personal data it collects or uses.

Luye Pharma AG attaches great importance to the security of users' data and compliance with data protection regulations. The collection, processing and use of personal data is governed by the provisions of the currently applicable laws and the EU Data Protection Directive. Pursuant to Art. 4 No. 1 EU-GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation), personal data refers to all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Personal circumstances: For example - name, address, e-mail address, birthday, nationality, occupation, health data, religion, etc. Factual circumstances: For example - income, financial situation, property etc.

Luye's protection of your personal information is a very important concern. Therefore, it is a matter of course for Luye to treat your personal data confidentially and purposefully in compliance with applicable data protection legislation and to collect, process and use it only to the extent necessary to achieve its intended purpose.

With this Privacy Policy, we explain what information we collect and store as part of your visit to our websites and for what purposes we use this information.

I. Visiting our websites

1 Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies": text files which are stored on your computer and which allow your use of the website to be analysed. Information about your use of this website generated by the cookie is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
However, in the event that IP anonymisation is configured on this website, your IP address will first be compressed by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will your full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the United States and condensed there.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this data to assess your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide services associated with website use and Internet use.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent cookies from being saved by setting your browser software accordingly. However, please note that in this case you may not be able to fully utilise all the functions of this website. In addition, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing the data (including your IP address) relating to your use of the website (including your IP address), as well as the processing of such data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available at the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en) and installing.

For more information, visit tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html (general information about Google Analytics and data protection). Please note that Google Analytics is expanded on this website with the code "gat._anonymizeIp ();" in order to guarantee the anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

2 Use of Cookies

On our websites, we generally do not use so-called cookies except as part of Google Analytics (see I. point 1). Cookies are small text files which are saved by web servers on users' computers for purposes of e.g. recognition during a repeated visit to the website. Cookies are an industry standard that most websites use to make it easier for users to repeatedly access and use certain websites. They do not cause any damage to computer systems or data. Only the web server that sets each cookie can read, modify, and delete it. If we make an exception to use cookies at any point, we will only store technical session data for the duration of the respective session in the memory of your browser, which will be automatically deleted after the session has ended, or, at the latest, when your browser is closed.

However, a personal reference cannot be established. There is also no personal tracking. Of course, you can also view our websites without cookies. However, most browsers automatically accept cookies. You can prevent cookies from being saved or receive warnings from your browser by choosing the appropriate specifications in your browser settings.

You also have the option to remove existing cookies using your browser. For more information about these features, see your browser's documentation or Help section. However, you may not be able to view some or all of our websites if you do not permit the use of cookies. Further information can be found on the following websites:

3 Pixel Tags

On our websites, we use so-called pixel tags, web beacons, clear GIFs or similar tools (collectively known as "pixel tags") to measure usage parameters of individual websites or offers and to evaluate them statistically. For example, pixel tags allow us to count the number of users who visit certain sub-pages of a site, or, if an e-mail program allows HTML format, to determine if and when an email has been opened. Pixel tags help us check and optimise the effectiveness of our websites, offers and advertising. However, a personal reference cannot be established. There is also no personal tracking.

4 E-Mail Security

The user agrees to electronic communication as soon as he himself opens the electronic contact with Luye Pharma. The user is cautioned that e-mails can be read or changed unauthorized and unnoticed during transmission. Luye Pharma uses software to filter unwanted emails (spam filters). The spam filter can reject e-mails if they have been identified as spam by certain features.

II. Consent to specific extended-use website offers

Certain offers available on our websites, such as contact forms, information requirements or e-mail notifications, require the specific collection, processing and use of personal data.

We also want to keep you informed about Luye's new offers, products and information by mail and/or by e-mail with your express prior consent. These additional offers and services require the further processing and use of personal data.

In both cases, we will direct you to the relevant areas of our websites when collecting data for the respective purposes. We will only collect, process and use the data you have provided in the form fields in the context of the purposes stated above if you have previously expressly agreed to the respective purpose of use.

By giving your express consent prior to the transmission of your data, you consent to the collection, processing and use of your data in accordance with this data protection notice and the respective supplementary notices.

Your prior consent (declaration of consent) is stored by us; you can revoke it at the appropriate sections of our websites. We recommend that you print the respective declaration of consent for your own documentation purposes.

You have the right to revoke all or part of your informed consent with effect for the future or to disagree with the further use of the data for marketing or opinion research purposes at any time and can do so, for example, by sending an e-mail to infoluyepharmaeu.

We will also record such a revocation.

In order to benefit from certain offers, additional offers and services offered on our websites, you must specify the mandatory data marked in the relevant form fields. The provision of further information is voluntary and is used to address you personally and/or more individually, or to increase the quality of service for you through options like feedback.

III. Data security and data sharing with third parties

1 Data security

The data collected and stored by us is protected by appropriate technical and organizational measures against changes and unauthorised access by third parties. However, please note that the data transfer between your computer and our servers is encrypted.

2 Data sharing with third parties

The personal data collected as part of using Luye websites is not shared with third parties. Exceptions are transfers of personal data to government bodies and authorities as well as private content holders on the basis of legal regulations or judicial/administrative decisions, as well as transmission to state institutions and authorities in the event of attacks on our legal goods for the purposes of law or prosecution.

External service providers that we use to operate the websites or to process certain offers, additional offers and services provided by our websites process personal data exclusively on our behalf and are contractually obliged to comply with the applicable legal provisions on data protection and data security. They are not considered third parties in the context of data protection.

2 Correction, blocking and deletion of data/revocation of consent

You have the right to have any of your data stored by us corrected, blocked or deleted at any time. If deletion is contrary to legal, contractual, commercial or fiscal reasons, especially statutory retention periods, the data is blocked instead of deleted. If you would like to avail yourself of these rights of rectification, blocking or deletion, or if you wish to revoke a declaration of consent for the processing and use of your personal data, please contact Luye Pharma AG, Am Windfeld 35, 83714 Miesbach, Tel. +49 (0) 8025 / 2867-0, e-mail: infoluyepharmaeu.
